About

We are a couple from Israel who quit our jobs in high-tech to travel in South America. We started in Colombia and backpacked our way down to Chile, where we bought a converted minivan camper- dubbed Patty- to drive through Patagonia.

We did absolutely no physical preparation before the trip, but nevertheless found ourselves doing a bunch of long, back-breaking, tear-inducing, breathtaking treks.

We created this blog to help other wildly unprepared backpackers like us do all of the things that they didn’t think they could.

Hopefully, our next long-term destination (after we scrounge up some more cash) will be Asia. In the meantime, we’ll settle for the shorter trips to Europe every now and then.
